Dr. Merrell, an Evansville, Indiana native, graduated from Washington University School of Medicine in 1971. He served his internship and residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He also served his residency of Otorhinolaryngology at University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, MI. He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology and has been practicing in Toledo and outlying areas since 1979. He and his wife Jan reside in Rossford and they have two daughters and a son.
